TOP OF THE MORNING!
Woke up at 5:30 and got a ten mile tempo run in. Now to spend the rest of the day studying for finals D;

I just got my running singlet in the mail from the Organization of Autism Research! This October I’ll be running in my first full marathon in Chicago and I would love for you to cross the finish line with me. On top of running 26.2 mile, I decided to run for a cause. Running for Autism. If you can please check out my fundraising page it would mean the world to me. For everyone who makes a donation, I will have your name written on my singlet so that we go through 26.2 journey together. Thank you very much!

Had a pretty solid workout with Gulf Winds at the track tonight. Everyone at first was in a little funk with the feeling of what occurred just yesterday at Boston, with several of our friends who are there (and are luckily alright) but after we got to running, it was all good vibes from there.
Workout:
2 mile warm-up
3xMile: 5:26, 5:27, 5:24
2 mile cool-down
On one of my mile cool-downs I paced my buddy and roommate, Juan, to his last mile repeat. Paced him to his first sub 7 minute mile clocking in at a 6:38. Proud of that guy!
You can see why Golden Retrievers and runners go hand-in-hand.
After only a day of starting up my team for raising money for autism research as I train towards the Chicago Marathon, I have already raised nearly $300.00 which brings such joy to my heart to see the kindness of others to be so generous to help out.
Even if you are unable to personally donate yourself, it would mean the world to me to have your support and if you can help spread the word. OAR (Organization for Autistic Research) is doing such a great thing by putting together this non-profit fundraiser that I am thrilled to be a part of.
Happy runnings, everyone :)
As many of you might know, I do this crazy thing known as running. Why? It’s beyond me, but, I’m addicted to it. Well, this October I will be running in my first ever full Marathon in Chicago. I decided that 26.2 miles wasn’t enough and decided to go the extra mile. I will now be running for OAR (Organization for Autism Research) and will now be running to raise money for Autism Research. If you are also running in the Chicago Marathon and would be interested in joining my team, OR, would like to make a donation, please visit my team page that I created, Life is Beautiful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much!
